HOW WE WORK
Phase 1: Project Scope & Proposal
After our first consultation, we prepare a comprehensive proposal outlining the scope of work, project timeline, key deliverables, and investment. This ensures mutual clarity before any design work begins.
Please note: No design work is undertaken until the proposal is reviewed and signed.
Phase 2: Design Concept Development
Upon approval of the proposal, we start develop a personalized design concept that reflects your style and vision. This includes mood imagery, preliminary material suggestions, and a clear creative direction that sets the foundation for your project.
Phase 3: Design Development & Contract Administration
In this phase, we turn the approved concept into detailed layouts, selections, and technical plans. We manage vendors, procurement, and timelines to make sure your design vision is executed flawlessly.
Phase 4: Final Design Delivery & Project Wrap-Up
All design details including confirming installations or handovers, and delivery of finished design package. This phase ensures every element of the project is reviewed, refined, and ready for long-term enjoyment. All final documentation are sent and a walk through (or digital review) of the completed design.
The Essentials Edit
This service is ideal for clients who need expert guidance but are not moving forward with full-service design.
We provide a focused design package that includes:
- Space planning options tailored to your layout
- Material and finish sourcing
- Color palette development
- Furniture and lighting suggestions (optional add-on)
You’ll receive a curated visual presentation and a sourced materials list to guide your design decisions with confidence. This package can be used independently or as a starting point for future full-scope design services.
The Selections Edit
Designed for builders and contractors, this service provides a trusted design partner to guide clients through material and furnishing selections.
We act as an extension of your team—handling design decisions so you can focus on construction.
This package includes:
- Material and finish selections (tile, flooring, paint, hardware, etc.)
- Color palette and cohesion planning
- Fixture and fitting recommendations
- Furniture and styling direction (optional)
- Client-facing moodboards and visual presentations
- Sourced product links or specification sheets
- Timely collaboration with your team to keep projects moving
This is ideal for:

Payments
All payments are final to 8th Ave Interior Design. 30% deposit required on all design services except for hourly consultation in which is due upon meeting.
