With so many years of design experience, from the tile showroom to junior designer to Showroom/Design Consultant, I would say I have my fair experience in every sector of the kitchen + bath industry. With that being said, I focus my time 100% on three sectors:
A) Designer Sales Manager for my current day job. With this role, I am able to travel + meet local residential designers to promote my company’s products, insights, special events etc.
B) Designer Brew Principal Designer + Blogger: hourly one on one design advice on anything interior design (color, furniture, tile, stone etc). With the help of a DIY time sheet that is created for the enduser to take their time tackling the task sheet at hand.
C) Artistry Production: Working as a freelance makeup artist for bridal wear and film production on the east coast.
Well!!! It sounds like a lot but it’s manageable. The key ingredient is creating a schedule but easier to remember if you hand write your tasks versus typing it on your phone/iPad. I actually use the iPad app “GoodNotes 5”. However, I write it out using the Apple pencil.
