During this pandemic time whirl, I wanted to focus on my beauty care and some incredible finds. Due to the easily spreadable conditions we are living with, we are forced to wear masks and so some of us can not wear makeup! So, I knew I needed something that would be essential to my makeup routine for this upcoming summer.
Moisturizer : Josie Maran Intensive Creamy Oil
I researched products that would be ideal for my skin type and realized that for the summer I would only need three products that would be sufficient enough for the fall. The Josie Maran Creamy oil is absolutely my favorite!! It’s great as a foundation medium, skin moisturizer, lip balm, baby cream etc. I recently recommended this to my pregnant cousin that is expecting twins and already loves this for her and is ordering more for the twins. It’s very inexpensive and it does give off a citrus smell that is pleasant.
Foundation: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer – Natural Skin Protector
The tinted moisturizer from Laura Mercier definitely hides any skin imperfections and balances my skin tone which is hard to do with regular foundation. At times, I would have to apply more foundation to just simply hide breakouts. I bought the travel size at first as a trial run but once I finish the bottle, I will order the full size. I decide to use a tinted moisturizer for the summer because it will be lightweight and does not need too much application to work…so a little goes a long way.
Glow Enhancer: L’oreal True Match Lumi Glotion – 904
Lastly, the L’oreal Lumi Glotion has always been my favorite luminous face enhancer to use with any of my foundations. I would mix this with my foundations to give me a nice glow and some extra color so that I don’t have to use bronzer later. I use two shades: 903 + 904 but the 904 is the darkest. During the summer, I would use just the 904 as a foundation if I had a dark tan from the sun and just needed to cover up lightly. This glotion made me feel like I was sun-kissed.
I would definitely recommend these products this summer as its best to know wear too much makeup especially during the hot summer waves of heat. All of these products you are able to find on Sephora and Ulta.
